On 01/23/2010 I sent out Validation notices to 3 places. On 02/02/2010 I recieved the last green card with signature on it. One of these places responded 2 weeks later saying they will that they will remove the entry on my reports. The other 2 have failed to remove or respond. What is my next step?

well, the one that said they would remove it, you can pretty much count on that account being sold to another junk debt buyer, and you will have to go through the process all over again.

The others, there really is nothing you can do until they do something. Once they get your DV request, they can either continue trying to collect(which is illegal), they can stop collecting until they provide you with the validation, or they can choose to stop altogether. In the third case, the account typically gets sold to another debt buyer. Be sure to monitor your credit reports--the two that did not respond could be breaking the law if they continue to report or update your credit reports with that account.

This one I am not worried about. It was paid thru a judgement (was my wifes bill before we were married) and they had add my name as a joint party. So this one is GONE...... never to been seen again

I did dispute it 2 weeks after the got the notice and they both responded to the CRA's. So do I now send an letter of intent to sue due to them not validating the debt and they continue to report?
