Chase Made Offer of 45% Settlement

before they only offer repayment-hardship plans, so was a little shock to get 45%.
I don???t have 45% so counteroffer with 25%, lady said she would submit it to a supervisor.
She said to call back in 5 days to see if it???s been approved, anyone know why 5 days?
Sure they won???t accept my 25%, will they counteroffer?
My Dad said he could make up the different if they will do up to 35%.

I am at the SAME point with them and they are stuck on 50% with a pretty sad looking credit report. I will bet that at 180 days they will do 20%, BUT you have some help so you may wish to go for it. I have to conserve because I have so much debt that even at 30% it is a large sum. Good Luck.

They did not except my 30% offer :( Not even surprise but was hoping! I don't have 45% or 40 and 35% would be hard to scrape up BUT I do have 30% right now sitting in my bank!
I just called them again and reoffer and they kept switching me from dept to dept. I ended up talking to 5 different people and they still said no again on the 30%! Will wait another week and try again since I will be over 150 days.
