Has anyone been prosecuted by ccr associates people?

I am currently dealing with these people. They wanted me to give them a credit card or account number to set up payment plans for a PDl that I had taken out in 2008. But i didn't give it to them. I am trying to get an address to send them a DV letter. They say they will take me to court and possibly garnish my wages but I was under the impression that they couldn't granish my wages due to pa law. I live in PA. Anyway, the amount they are asking for is more them what i think I would owe. I did see that someone on here left a possible address for them and I will try to send a certified letter since they don't want to give me an address. I have seen a lot of negative posts about this CA and i'm a little worried that they may put a judgement against me for money that I don't owe. Has anyone been prosecuted by these people?


I would also suggest you to send them a DV letter via certified mail with return receipt requested. According to my knowledge, garnishment of wages takes place only after a lawsuit has been filed and won. If the debtor doesn't turn up after being summoned, then the question of default judgement will arise and it will lead to garnishment.

Guest, your idea is right that wage can't be garnished in PA for payday loans. Most likely these people are trying to collect on behalf of an illegal lender. And, payday loans are illegal in Pennsylvania (check state law here). So, obviously they're blowing smoke.
