Does the Chapter 13 stay on my credit report for ten years?

I originally filed a Chapter 13 July 3, 2003 when I stupidly thought that I could pull myself out of this mess by doing so. It was dismissed in 2006 and I ultimately filed a Chapter 7 April, 2006 and had my Chapter 7 discharged in July, 2006. Does the Chapter 13 stay on my credit report for ten years even though it was dismissed? It says Date Filed/Reported: 7/3/2006 then it says Status: Dismissed then it says Closing Date: 10/6/2006 so I am not sure when it would come off my credit report.

Creditors and the credit bureaus are less consistent when it comes to report a dismissed bankruptcy. It may stay on your report for the full duration of a discharged BK.
