i,m having the same problem loan was 200 now they saying they had problems drafting the money out of my account after 2months now they say i owe 512.00 wtf they will not work with u at all.its something fishy going on.:mad:

I received a call from them also and this guy told me that i either pay him 650.00 or i was gonna have to go to court next week in California. Im in North Carolina and had not recieved anything tellin me that i had to be in court so i knew something was up so i talked to my lawyer and he contacted the FBI and im talking to them now and they told me to tell him that im talking to the FBI and to fuck off and not to call me or my job anymore and when i did he hung up on me lol.

Unfortunately I heard of them today. I have since filed a complaint with the Attorney Generals Office and the Federal Trade Commission.

I just myself received a phone call. Justin Jones said to call 760-624-8169 that his law firm was waiting to hear from me that I needed to call this # right back. Accent, and when he talked there was a pause on the phone each time.

I just recieved a phone call from Federal Credit Law Firm...they stated I took out a payday loan...which I did not, they said the police will be showing up at my house next week to arrest me!!!! They are based out of California from what some bozo said, I told them to send me any info they had about this loan..Freedom of Information Act...he said nothing would be sent to me and that I am a criminal and need to appear in court in California next week...What the heck is going on!!!!! I am about to have a heart attack!!!!! If anyone can help me with I would greatly appreciate it!!!!!

this is a scam that tries to scare people into paying.first file a police report for the call as the idiot whoever they are broke the law themselves.next file AG,AND FTC complaints using the phone number given by them,or on your caller id.then ignore them.again a scam that needs to break the law with illegal threats because they have nothing else.

My wife is told by the Federal Credit Law Firm that she will be arrested on monday if she does not pay! So I called the FBI field office and told them what the FCLF told my wife, they told me to contact the District Attorneys office in my county first thing monday and do not give them any information or pay them any money!! No credit collection agency can have you arrested for defualting on your loan.
So if they call you write down every thing they tell you, contact the FBI, call the Distric Attorney in your county, then tell them you did so !!

Oh I forgot the names my wife was given was Joseph Hernandez and Gerry McClain, phone #. 760 - 278 - 3196 Fax #. 206 - 339 - 3330 the above names and numbers was given to my wife to contact the Federal Credit Law Firm, so if you are contacted by any or these people or numbers, Contact the FBI and the district Attorney in your county immediately.

I just got a call from the so called buisness of Federal Credit Law Firm.. I was confused on the matter so I asked the gentleman to explain to me what he was talking about. The gentleman stated that he will have Criminal Charges pressed against me and started going off about all this crazy stuff. I asked for phn #s to the company he gave me 573 340 3873 and 760 624 8174 and told me thery were located at 10390 Santa Monica Blvd in Los angeles, CA 90025 when I told him those were not Santa MOnica numers he told me to Fuck off and hung up.. I am now calling the BBB and the FBI

I had the same problem they called my workk 10 times just 2 min. apart when I call them from my phone I ask what this was about all he said was he said he need my attonery's name and number when I was ablout to give them a fake number they hung up. I called back and told them I was calling the state attonery's office they hung up. so far no more calles. Im still calling the state attoreny office, and the FTC office @ 877-382-4357 to report them

I have recieved several phone calls from these people. They had my social security number, birth date, bank account numbers, my mother's and sister's names and addresses, my address home and work and work phone number. This is scary, how do they get all this info. Told me they where going to throw me in jail if I did not pay them, but would not tell me any information on why I owed them money. Asked for my lawyers name so I gave them his name and phone number. He has not heard from them as of yet and been 3 days now.

I guess they are a collection agency and your original creditor has sold off your account to them. If you're not sure about the debt that they are speaking off, send them a debt validation letter and ask them to validate the debt. If they are unable to validate the debt, ask them not to contact you any further by sending them a 1. If the collection agency is able to validate the debt, then you will have to pay off the dues. You can negotiate with them and try to get a payment plan to pay them off.

well since this a bottomfeeding scam for illegal ipdl's validation is not possible.besides this place never eh eh ever sends anything in writing.anybody contacted by this scam should file a police report for the harrassment.then use the name "federal credit law firm"or any number they have to file AG,AND FTC complaints.then ignore them as all they want is someone to argue with.don't give them that.

Since they are a scam company, you'd be wasting a stamp by sending them a C&D. Just ignore them as they cannot have you thrown in jail.

I received a call from this so called law firm stating the same thing. They called saying that I took out some payday loan in the month of october and i never paid back. I have all my bank records that show a loan never went into my account. The first few calls I received were from760-383-1471 and 760-913-9176. Several times the have called and harrassed but each time they call it is supposedely a differnt atorney representing that company and each time it is a differnt name. The new all my personal information even as far as who I banked with. they said that i have 3 counts of criminal activity on my record of 1 case of Violation of Federal Bank regulation, 1 case of collateral check Fraud, and 1 case of theft by deception. First of all, I know that they are fake and liars because check fraud gets you reported to the ChexSystem and if this were the case then my bank would have notified me that I cannot have or be writing out Checks. These people are fake so DON'T PAY THEM ANYTHING!!!!!! I have also done reports with the Attorney General. Now these people still continue to call and now it is a "different" attorney by the name of Robin Ross with a number of 724-484-3690. I went to people search to do a search on the first phone numbers with the area code (760) and it came back that it is a number from California. The other number with an area code of (724) came back and it was from Pennsylvania. So how can this company that is "suing" me be represented by an attorney in California then to one in Pennsylvania??? Sounds fishy right? If you pay attention to all your cues from them, you kow they are not legit and are fake.

Same thing just happened to me. I told him that he was very threatening and that I was recording him. He then hung up. They threaten to serve you at your job and serve you with court papers.

Okay...same thing...these jerks will not leave me alone...I did do a payday loan online through MoneyMutual and I have paid that off and I even called them to find out what was going on...they said that this is happening to a lot of their customers and that my account is in good standing and to not give out any additional information, but the jerks won't stop calling. My next step is to tell them that I myself am taking legal action against them through the FCC and the BBB...this is just absolutely ridiculous. What bothers me more is that they have called my place of employment, my home and my cell...they know all of my personal information and this is just NOT COOL! No more applying for loans or anything of such online for me!

Been called from phone numbers 760-913-9176 and 760-856-0951. Threatened to take me to court, arrest me, send me subpoenas, but yet cannot provide documentation to support their "case" against me.
These culprits need to be arrested!!

So I received a call on my cell phone and at work from a Mark Smith asking for my Attorney Name and number so I gave them my attorney's number, they threatened me on my cell phone and then called my work I told them not to call me at work again and gave him my attorney's information.
These guys are a scam they tried doing this 2 months ago when I got an attorney.

I am getting the same in calls and the same situation. Guy name Eric Matthews with phone number 661-347-6367 called me threating me to throw me in jail. Saying I owed First cash advance but that company doesnt even have a phone number or address to contact them. I now invovled my lawyer after this Eric Mathews guy has repeated called my phone 20 times in a row and threating me.

I got a call from these scum from # 661-347-6469. Same as all the rest. But see i just kept calling them back until they gave me a name. But trust me they hubg up on me and my husband @ least 20 times. But i just kept calling and calling and calling like they did me. Then after they gave me their fake business name. I told them to get lost and hung up. Not a nother call from them as of this time..

I also got call from such agency saying exactly same what other have written....

What do I need to do...

i myself am getting these phone calls there names are daniel lewis jim taylor and and some weird guy who claims to be the senior attorney.....i have reported to homeland security and they just told me not to talk to them, aparrently sombody has to do sumthing about it>>>i think some of these politicians need to get off there rears and issue some kind of warning to the public to let people know whats going on

I recieved one of these phone calls all so. But, I turned the tables on them. I kept putting questions to them that was not going to be answered. Like where this place was? whom do I speak to when i get their. I guess the questions got be to much. I ask to be transfered to his boss then the called dropped. I called back a few times. Finally , I used a friends cell gave her name an they said she was the one that ode them. She said; she was 64yrs old. They said they would take her benifits from her S.S.I or retired settlement check. hats why you knw that they are real scum buckets. If this numbe comes up let it ring...... 661-347-6469

I also received a call from this "so called" law firm. I filed a charge with the FBI and the AG of Florida and they both said there was really nothing they could do but had received many complaints prior to mine. I also called the people back and the said " good luck catching us"... DO NOT EVER SEND THESE SCAMMERS MONEY...

I receive 2 calls a day, one on cell...one at work. I do not give info, but try repeatedly to get their info and am usually hung up on. Same as above, heavy accent middle eastern or indian. Number used is 347-286-7380. I have reported to AG of Virginia. I gave them false infor and they said I had 3 cc's and a student loan. All they were concerned with is my student loan. Really?! I acted all scared and said I wouldsend them what I could and they pushed for an electronic transfer. When I said I couldn't they said God help you in court!

my first phone calls came from that same phone numbers his name was ben johnson and his senior attorney was mark benjamin. I had taken out a couple of payday loans but could not find record of advance or cashnet.usa who they represented and it was pulling teeth to get that info from them

I got a call today from this company, only the very bad english speaking foreigner was known as Steven Jones, phone number 661-240-9189, when asking him his company name and address, all I got very quickly was Federal Credit Law Firm, when repeating this back to him he hung up...i have since called him back 4 times, and of course no one answers, then goes to voice mail which of course is not accepting anymore messages.. this is the 4th time in 2 years that this company has contacted me...you would think by now that they would take me off of the "does not work on" list

I too received this voicemail from Shawn Michael saying that I was being sued and I needed for my attorney to contact them. I totally disregarded these voicemails until they called and I answered the phone. It was then that the guy told me that I needed to call Jeffrey Smith at 818-254-8592. I was shocked because it was exactly the same number that I was speaking to this guy on. I hung up and called back and the same guy answered the phone saying that he was Jeffrey Smith. He told me I owed a payday loan and I was being charged with three different counts and the only way to keep them from taking me to court was if I pay the entire 723.25 by today. I was asking him questions about this account because I didn't know what he was talking about and I didn't know who I owed. He told me to fax him my debit card number with a notarized letter stating that I was agreeing to pay them back. He told me I had exactly one hour to pay this loan and all charges against me would be dropped. It didn't sound right so I waited a couple minutes and had my mom fake like she was my attorney and she gave him a number to fax the summons and charges to but he wouldn't do it. She asked to speak to his boss and he said he was the boss. He hung up. He then proceeded to call my phone back and my mom answered it saying that she was still my attorney and anything that needed to be discussed was to be told to her. He got angry and hung up. I then called the number and talked to someone named Steve and he gave me the name of Federal Credit Law Firm. I came to the computer to look it up and this is what I find out. INDEED IT IS A SCAM!! THANKFUL FOR THE INTERNET!!!

I've been getting a crazy # of calls from this place. The've got an accent like they're from India or something. They call my work despite my saying I can't take calls at work. The # I have is 661-750-2456 for them. They want me to re-pay the interest for a past loan. I told them bullshit....I filed bankruptcy and this debt was removed. I've told them to send me something in writing re: this debt and they haven't. Things seemed so shady and suspicious and finally today is when he gave me the "Federal Credit Law Firm". The guy says "My superior is waiting for you to call"......what a crock of shit. Your superior wants to talk to me? Then HE can call ME. Glad I looked their name up on here!!

I have heard from this Indian group under three different names so far. When I checked none of the companies even existed. I did a call trace and the number went to a call center. I think they are getting peoples information from applications for payday loans. That is why they have what appers to be your info. They only have the last four didgits of your social and only partial info for every thing. Make sure you do not complete the blanks for them, they don't have all the info they pretend to have. They must be hacking these sites and getting enough info to make people fall for what they are saying. A big tip off is the interesting names they give themselves. Officer Pistol, John Smith, agent and so forth. Hang up on them and do not ever answer again, they will eventually stop, however they may then call you back with a different fake company. Let them know you know they are a scam and you have turned them in, They will laugh and hang up, but they do not call again.:-x
