Hello,

I live in CT and have all internet based payday loans. I recently found that that two loans that I defaulted on have shown up on my credit report by the CAs that reported them. I overpaid for both of them, so I don't owe them anymore. I tried disputing them with Transunion and on one they said the amount was verified and for the other, they increased the amount due! I don't think I was clear enough in my dispute - I called their 1-800 number for the disputes and the guy wouldn't take any additional comments on the dispute. If I can, I would like to dispute again as I feel that they didn't do a thorough dispute and also send them a detailed letter for the reasons why they should remove. Does anyone have a rock solid letter that they've sent to the CRAs before that worked to have the negative items on my report removed?

Thanks for your help! This site rocks!

Well Guest, firstly payday loans are illegal in CT and you actually don't owe them anything else other than the principal amount but you have already overpaid them.
As you wish to remove the inaccurate info from your credit report you can check out the following
