BestBuy/HBSC to Resurgent ???
Date: Tue, 03/23/2010 - 12:02
Hello,
Here is my question, was deployed for a year and my BB CC got out of control while I was overseas. Now been back for a month was working on taking care of this BB balance.
But before I could do anything, the account is now showing closed and I have this "Resurgent" company calling me with options on how to clear this debt.
I'm very little knowledge in the world of debt and am looking for any guidelines on how to approach this situation and handle it without getting "taken" by the collections company?
Thanks
Taylor

Well Taylor, Resurgent is trying to collect the debt that you ow
Well Taylor, Resurgent is trying to collect the debt that you owe on a Best Buy Store Card, which was processed by HSBC. So if you do not want to deal with the collection agency, then you can call up the original creditor and explain why this problem occurred. Try to work out something with them.
