Allied Interstate, Inc. Collections???

Has anyone had any experience with Allied Interstate, Inc? They're collecting for American Express, but apparently AMEX hired them to collect the debt from what they told me.
The rep from Allied told me that AMEX isn't offering any settlements right now. Acct. is past due 120 days. This is my Moms acct. and I explained to her the entire situation... bottom line, my Mom has nothing to get this paid. The rep told me to write her an e-mail explaining the situation and she would go back to AMEX to see if she could get some type of deal.

Yes Allied Interstate, Inc is collecting on behalf of AMEX. Ask your MOM to explain everything vividly. As the rep informed that she will try to work out something with AMEX, so it's better to wait for the response.
