Debt Validation Letter?
Date: Tue, 03/23/2010 - 17:43
I sent out a debt validation letter to Pinnacle Financial Group early this month by certified mail and haven't recieved the little paper saying that they recieved it. I am almost certain they won't be able to validate the debt, which means I will be able to get it removed from my credit report. Now that I've sent the letter, they're calling me...despite the fact that I asked them to cease contact in the letter. Without proof that they recieved it, how do I get rid of these jerks?
if you sent it certified mail RR,,,you can look up the tracking
if you sent it certified mail RR,,,you can look up the tracking number online, I think it's at the top right of the USPS website home page....that should be proof enough that they got it.
Almost all bedt collectors will lie and still call after a C & D or debt validation letter....once you tell them they are breaking that law, then their tune changes.
