they have stated there is a pending lawsuit to be filed in my name. Also called my niece and told her the same thing. what can i do if anything to stop them. i don't have an address, only the phone number they leave in the message.

If they call back try to at least get a name or address, even just a name and we can find an address for you to send a DV. Otherwise I would ignore it unless they send you something in the mail

I am beginning to recieved calls again from this number 516-874-
I am beginning to recieved calls again from this number 516-874-6215 from a "Officer Green". He states there is a pending lawsuit to be filed against by name. That a finance company is willing to press charges and proceeds to state that if I don't return the call then he will have to proceed with the charges.
He is calling my cell phone and my work number. How can I get these calls to stop expecially at my place of employment? I am making payments on all of my accounts.

What I found out, other than they are a scam, is if I answer their calls, they call more. If I don't answer them, they will give-up for a while. Do not under any circumstances confirm any personal information. They are a scam.

I have not answered any of these calls from this number. The person that called last night was an "Officer Alex Green" with the Federal Legal Investigation Dept. He also has called my niece. I have warned her not to answer any of the calls or to give any personal information and that this is a scam.
