i jast got a letter from asset acceptance saying that i got serve. but my question is can i jast try to do a payment plann by phone insted of going to court?
Nope...you have to answer the summons and then show up in court.
Nope...you have to answer the summons and then show up in court. they will probably want to do a stipulated judgement which means they will get there judgment, but you will be granted a payment plan. Miss a payment and they can automatically proceed with garnishment or whatever relief is available to them.
