I am a new resident of U.S. and wasn't able to settled my debts in the last country where I worked. Right now, I am not working and still lonking for a job.
Does my credit report in U.S. will affect me?

I'm sure you don't have a credit history yet.

The cross border data law often prevents free flow of information about an individual. Hence, most likely your unpaid debt on the other country wouldn't come haunting you on the American soil.

Thank you for your quick response. I can't really sleep and thinking about my debts.

All fees are adding up every month and planning to settle before long. Would this banks will waive all the fees/charges if I arrange to pay?

The agency collector already phoned and relocate my home land address but no idea that I am here in U.S.

I hope your creditors/collection agencies doesn't know that you're in U.S. If they become aware of your migration then they can take some action for collecting the debts.

Moreover,
if you return back after a couple of year, then you may get into some kind of trouble. So you may fix up someone there in your previous country to start a negotiation if you have the necessary funds to back up.

The 2 banks are in Middle East country where I used to work. I was informed by my relatives back home that they had received a phoned calls from the agency collector.

I shall begin making my regular monthly payments as soon as I recover from this financial crisis. It was not that big amounth but it terriefies me to see all the added charges.
