So I keep finding myself getting deeper into payday loan debt and keep having to take out more to be able to pay back others. It is an endless cycle I need help to get out.
I have been through the forum trying to understand the laws in IL and it still all so confusing and overwhelming.

So here is my debt so far:

Speedy Cash: loan: $400 (paid: 337.80) still owe: $246.34
Salary Fast: loan: $200 (paid nothing yet) still owe: $274
cashnetusa: loan: $500 (paid: 347.60) still owe: $346.55
payday one: loan: $1,000 (paid: 1,125.62) still owe: $734.95

All of the other loans I had to get because of the payday one loan. Once I even put 80.00 more toward my principal balance but for some reason the math comes out the same with interest owing.

I am wanting to take out yet another payday loan just to try and pay off more of the principle with the payday one loan because the interest is killing me.
What do I do?! I cannot believe I dug myself this deep into debt and they cut back hours at work so I have been making half of what I used to. (retail so I did not make much to begin with)

You can check the state laws regarding payday lending here.

Your objective would be to determine which of your lenders are legal in your state. You can confirm the legal status of your lenders with the help of the following link.

Taking out another pdl to payoff the existing ones is certainly a bad idea. Whatever it takes, stay away from incurring further debt on pdls.

I am still so confused. I went through this site: "http://www.obre.state.il.us/AGENCY/licenseinfo.htm" and not one of the places are listed. When I do a search for them in the License Search it keeps coming up "No Results Found for Specified input".
Am I doing that right? So does that mean I dont owe payday one anything? I read through a bunch of other threads and I thought payday one was LEGAL in IL? Did something change and now it is not since I cannot find them on the site?

I forgot, I also have a nationwide cash one. I have pad 120 off of a 300 loan. But my last loan with them was for 500 and I paid around 800.

I emailed a C&D letter to nationwide cash 2 days in a row, and filed with the BBB and FTC, and I still got a phonecall from someone named Joe today wanting me to call and talk about my account.
Obviously they got my email if he is calling (my payday is Fiday so it is still in good standing).
Should I call back? Has anyone ever dealt with him, I just want it taken care of via mail and email not phone!

Nationwidecash isn't licensed to lend in your state, I wouldn't call him back, all he is going to do is threaten and harass you. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with illegal lenders.

I live in IL, and I was able to get Nationwidecash to settle for principle only in one phone call, believe it or not. I paid via cashier's check sent certified mail, and I received a paid-in-full letter from Jimmie Blake.

They are illegal in IL, and I filed complaints with the IL Attorney General and the DE AG (they're licensed in DE, but not in IL).

PLEASE file a complain with the IL Attorney General against NWC. I filed my complaint seeking the AG to order NWC to cease and desist making loans to IL residents until NWC complies with IL law. I started a thread asking IL residents who have been preyed on by NWC to do the same, with enough complaints Madigan's office will do something!

If you want more information on how I got Nationwide cash to settle for principle, PM me and I'll give you more info!

They called again and again I sent out my email adding to the top I needed everything in writing for the IL General Attorney and he wrote back:

Please contact Myself or Mr. Blake in regards to resolution to your account. It is important that you contact our company to resolve your account. We understand your cease and desist request, but you have other financial matters that you stated you want to resolve.

I again emailed saying I need everything in writing for my General Attorney to be able to look at. Let's see what happens now. I really could use that refund!
