I called my bank again (after their 48 hours period for closing my account) and the lady advised me that some PDL company was trying to push a $300 credit through my closed account. I had advised her that I did not want any credits or debits to open my account back up and I want to make sure it is officially closed. She informed me that she is putting a note on my account not to allow credits or debits and to make sure the account officially stays closed, and assured me I should not have any problems with keeping the account permanetly closed.

Well I guess my question is, Would now be a good time to send the letters to the PDL companies? I would like to do it today, because they were supposed to debit my accounts tomorrow.

Thanks!

i would wait until the attempted debits before sending the letters.have them ready to send, but make sure what you were told will happen.your account must be secured or closed before sending the pdl's anything.
