Figuring out who my creditor is?

I previously had 3 cards in debt, BofA, Capital One, and Citi, first two have been settled, leaving my Citi one @ $4508.
In my early stages of debt denial though, I basically ripped up the letter Citi sent me and hoped the problem would go away, which obviously didn't solve anything :)
However a year and a half or so later I've never gotten any more letters from them, maybe a few phone calls that I ignored, but I have no idea who owns the debt right now. Is there any way to figure out what collection agency currently has it to contact them?

Have you ever received a letter of collection? One way, is to call Citi and ask them who has the debt.
