Ok so i need a little help here, I've been looking around on this site for a little bit but yet have not come to a conclusion yet
I have 6 pdl that have been killing me for the last 6months

I live in TX
Here is the list that i own to

5 Internet loans

Cash Net USA – 412.50
Ace Cash – 750.00
Payday Max.com – 595.76
Iadavancecash.com -300.00
Mycashcenter.com 400.00

And one storefront
CheckNGo 750.00

I've been thinking of doing with either T&C (heard many people talking good things about them on this site) or PDL Assistance (hearing no so good things though)

Im really thinking of doing it myself but i dont know about how to do this

Can anyone give me some advice and help please

~Thanks Jesse

Your storefront lender wouldn't work with a consolidation company. Ask them for an EPP (extended payment plan).

Next, determine which of your internet lenders are legal in your state. Since, Texas follows the CSO model, which makes the payday lenders legal even when they are not licensed by the state if they are operating as credit service organisations; its important to know which of your lenders are CSOs. You can check the CSO database of your state in the following link.

Does it really matter if they are registered or not? Texas doesn't go after unregistered lenders. Never has and the Texas Consumer Credit Commission has neither the budget nor the authority to do so now. They won't sue you if they aren't registered but they will nag, threaten and annoy every time they get you on the phone. And when they can't get you on the phone they will call your references, relatives, even your boss and nag, threaten and annoy them instead. Eventually they'll fade away, but you need to make a decision whether you have thick enough skin to endure 90 days or so of that or if you want to call them yourself and make the best deal you can. No point in paying PDL Assistance to do that for you, and T&C (which has a much better reputation) isn't a settlement company. They consolidate the loans, get the lenders to stop adding interest and then pay off the full balances over time. How well they work with the ones on your particular list, who knows?
