HELP ME PLEASE

DUANE

On March 24, 2010 the Pennsylvania Supreme Court agreed to hear a case (Cash America v. Kaplan) where it will decide if internet loans are illegal in Pennsylvania. No briefing schedule has been set and oral argument will not likely occur until 2011. I guess they needn't bother having that hearing though. The all-knowing mods (none of whom actually live in PA or have had to deal with the Department of Banking's total inaction againt payday lenders) have already decided for that internet loans are illegal in PA.

I find your post interesting...

PDLs are indeed illegal in PA. (BTW, I live in PA.) I spoke with the Dept. of Banking as well as the AGs office. They BOTH informed me that PDLs were in fact illegal. I've followed the "all-knowing" mods advice and actually received a PIF and a REFUND from one PDL and am working on some others that I have in the past overpaid.
I can't grasp whether you are working for a PDL Company and are trying to intimidate people on this board (since you aren't registered) or if it's something else.
I'd like you to provide the source where you found this information on the new case. I have not been able to find any information on this in my search online. I do have a copy of the decision from April 1 2009 from which the moderators are basing their advice (and fine advice I might add!)
Thanks!

You really should register and join, you seem to be the "all- knowing" guest who spends their time disputing all the Mods advice. Click the link below:
