Chase & B of A Settled!

The letter from B of A is really clear on everything but the one from Chase is very vague and when I called to get clarification was told that they would send out a letter after all the payments have been received reflecting the 0 balance and that it was paid in full.
Has anyone else had a wierd settlement letter from Chase?

I settled with Chase for 30%. The letter they sent me is very vague. It says nothing about settlement. Only has that I agreed to $1XXX 4 payments and the dates due. I was told twice that the settlement letter has been sent. Call and tell them you're taping the conversation. She was able to verify the info. She said the 4 payments would settle the acct. I hope to receive the settlement letter today. If not, I'll be calling AGAIN. Good Luck!

Yes the letter is vague. It does have the word "settlement" in it, but I was told that after making the payments I would get a letter stating that the account was "settled and nothing more is due".
Let us know if you get a different letter. They just refused to send anything else or change the one I received.
