internet payday loan in IA

I emailed all the company where I get the payday loans and only one replied and threatened me with wage garnishment. I wonder if they can do that, and never replied me with their licensed and keeps telling me that there is nothing in there that intenet payday loan is illegal in IOWA. what is the first step I should do.

-How much you paid so far.
By the way, they are probably talking about a 'wage assignment', a garnishment can only be obtained with a court order, a wage assignment is different but revocable at any time.

IPDL are not legal in the state of Iowa. This would be the reason that they never responded to your request for thier license. All that you have to do is suppliy both the IPDL and you Company Payroll Dept a Wage Assignment Revokation Letter and there is nothing that they can do to you.
