Can I get arrested for an unpaid payday loan

I am receiving calls from a person that is saying his name is Officer Douglass. He has called the people I used for references and telling them that they are in trouble for my debt. The man originally called my job two weeks ago and told me the police would be there in an hour to pick me up because I didn't pay them. I was trying to setup payment arrangements with him and he told me I couldn't. When I asked for the company information, he would not give it to me. I tried to find out if it was actually a payday loan company I had actually used. He was just rude and kept threatening me with the thought of being arrested. Is there anything I can do. I am willing to make arrangements but he is unwilling.

that is because whoever he is he would be in jail himself for threatening jail.that is against the law.file police reports for the calls.then file AG,and FTC complaints.have the others he called do the same.he won't give info because he just wants to scam you out of money.he can't and won't have anybody arrested.file the report,and complaints then don't talk to this loser again.a waste of your time.
