I had taken out a loan with them. When i contacted them about the outrageous interest rates, they stated to me that they are offshore (West indies), and that any state laws do not apply to them? Is this true?

that is a foreign pdl lie.of course your sate laws prevail,and they know it.just try to buffalo people with BS.tell them to extradite you to the west indies if they want their laws to apply to you.

Ok because i was told that in my state of Florida for small loans, the company needs to be lisenced no matter what there geographical location. Thanks a lot Paul! And after I told them not to, they called my work and the guy was yelling at me calling me a liar and such.
