I can't find anything on this number. I called back & it said "Co Par Group" on the voicemail but its late. It was an animated voice but they called again saying that if my mother-in-law doesn't call back they will sue her & send letters to her home and place of employment. She is retired so employement place would be hard...

Anyone know about this number or group?


Could be for anything under the sun. Have your MIL contact them and ask for the details of the debt without giving them any details save just enough to identify her such as last 4 of social. Also confirm correct address as they now have 5 days in which to send her a letter detailing the debt in question. Then she can send them a validation letter. That should give her all the information she needs and to make sure they are collecting legally.

We got a call from this outfit re a bill run up by my brother-in-law. If you want them to stop calling all you have to do is send them a letter requesting the calls to stop and, by law, they must stop. this is why so many of these places don't give a name or a correct name. They don't want you to be able to stop the harrassing calls.
