i received a letter from rjm about a fingerhut account in 1996 should i pay this isn't sol for 7 years i live in maryland.

If this account was from 1990 it is way out of SOL as the SOL is 3-4 years unless it is a contract under seal which is 12 years and even then it is still out of SOL.

A debt this old I would be careful. Are you sure RJM is the correct one to be collecting upon it and they haven't jacked the price all up? Send them a debt validation letter making them prove this is definitely your account and they are legally able to collect upon it. I wouldn't pay it unless they proved it to me, were I you.
