I took out $500 with United Cash Loans in December, and cannot just pay the loan off. Each payday, they have hit me for $50 in principal, and $100 in fees/interest.

It is now mid-April and to pay it off, with all their fees and crap, is STILL about $360 even though I have paid them $150.00 every other Friday for FIVE months.

I called and tried to make a payment arrangement with them, and they actually hung up on them.

I have ordered a stop payment for United Cash Loans from my bank, and I will take them to the Better Business Bureau, my Secretary of State and Attorney General's office, and whatever other agency I can find.

Have any of you folks had problems with United Cash Loans? I have had multiple loans with them for the past two years, never had a problem even with excessive fees until this particular loan was taken out. The way they have it structured, I will NEVER be able to pay it back.

Any additional advice would be greatly appreciated.

I posted about United Cash Loans about a week ago. Took out a $400 loan, and they ended up taking over $1100 in ACH debits from my account. When I caught on, I blocked all ACH debits and finally closed my account at the bank. AFTER closing my account, I sent UCL a letter requesting they 'cease and desist' in contacting me any other way then the US mail, and I also questioned their illegal lending (which they are in most states). In turn I sent the letter 3 times. I also filed a complaint with the BBB, the State Attorney General, and also the FTC.

UCL is ridiculous!!! They don't want you to payoff your loan - they want to keep collecting those service charges.

Thanks guys, I found a couple fo threads about United after I posted this.

I am asking my bank to go after UCL for Fraud because they are an unlicensed lender, and my bank is VERY interested in going after them, as they have multiple other clients also getting screwed.

Our Attorney General's office already has actions open against United and I am joining suit.

And, I am seeking the return of ALL payments made on this particular fraudulent loan, in lieu of seeking return of ALL payments for ALL loans I had with them (I have had probably 6-7 over the past two years, all paid off, and now I now, every one ILLEGAL.

I AM getting my money back.

And let me say this: The Miami Indian Reservation is NOT Fort Knox. I can certainly find SOMEONE on that reservation and take it out of their hide if they start getting jiggy.
