Hello,
I live NYS and have a payday loan (internet) they are not legal in NYS but can they still come after me? I have been trying to pay them but they dont take payments, they given me to there Payday Loan Collection Agency. Can they put a lein on my house or take me to court?

no,it's because once you know the straight dope.they can't get any money on their terms.once you realize pdl's are illegal in NY and take steps to secure your account.they can't do spit,but threaten stupidly.

Thank you very much for your help. Why do they lend to people where they know its illegal in that state? I am just curious how they think and work. I have learned a good lesson and wont get involved with these people again. Thanks
