Bam Group question **Kind of urgent**
Date: Sat, 04/17/2010 - 11:19
I got a phone call about a month ago from a lady named Ms. Meeks at the Bam Group stating that I owed money for a past due PDL. I made a payment that month and set a payment up for this month. I was not able to make that payment because of financial issues. She called me two days ago and proceeded to tell me that because the payment was rejected and they had my recorded statement that I would make the payment this month they were sending someone to my job to serve me. She was very rude and hung up on me twice while I was trying to see if there were any other options avaliable for me. I eventually got her boss on the phone who told me she would help me out by rescheduling the payments for each payday until I am paid off. (I owe $615). She also told me that if these payments were not made there would be a warrent put out for me and I would get a felony charge against me for a bad check. Is this really what will happen? After reading the other posts on here I am really thinking I should not be paying these people any money. Can someone help me please???

first off this is a scamming bottomfeeder that can't,and won't do anything except call.these pieces of mutated garbage would be in jail themselves if they had a verifiable address.nothing they do is legit, and you should never give idiots like this sensitive info over the phone.who knows.the loan you had could be illega depending on the lender, and state you are in.here is what you do.
1)find a way to either cancel the method you used or have our bank close the that account, and open a new one not linked to the old one.
2)file police reports for the calls as they broke the law in threatening jail.
3)file AG,and FTC complaints against the BAM GROUP.they are nothing but illegal scammers.
now on to this loan.a couple of questions
1)who was the original lender
2)how much was borrowed
3)how much debited before default
4)what state are you in.
5)internet or storefront.
just know the the BAM GROUP is a completely illegal piece of garbage that can't do anything they threaten.please answer my questions regarding the loan as if it was illegal.you only owe the principle borrowed.which i doubt isn't 615.00.file the reports and complaints.stop the payments, and hang up on these losers if they call again.
To answer your questions: 1) I am not sure exactly 2) The origin
To answer your questions:
1) I am not sure exactly
2) The original amount borrowed was between 200 and 250
3) ??
4) Missouri
5) Internet
They just called me again today and told me that because the payment was declined I would be getting a felony charge and they are sending a processor to my job. From my understanding you can not get a felony charge for a bad check via PDL's because the lender knows at the time you make that transaction that the money is not in the account. So there should be no way for them to be able to charge me with a felony, right? Or am I mistaken about the felony charges?

okay that's enough info.now being as this could be illegal you only owe the principle.again BAM GROUP is a complete bottomfeeder.do not pay them a dime.it may have been your good luck the first payment didn't go through.they don't deserve a dime.they won't do a thing that includes prosecute.they have no real verifiable address,so how can they have you arrested?secure your account or cc# asap.then file the police report, and the complaints i advised on my earlier response.to confirm that they are a bottomfeeder.do a search in the bar top right.you will see that threatening arrest is their favorite tactic.
