This almost amounts to theft. I would go over and just get the car....she has no legal claim to it...you were simply lending it her. If she refuses to give it back, call the police to assist you.

Yeah, it's not like you were leasing it to her or anything. You are within every right to just go take it back. If she is hiding it or won't let you gain access, then call the cops.

I hired a repo company. It's $250 bucks if they get it. I was trying not to tip her off because I fear she might do something to the car.

It's been 48 hours and they don't have it yet. Worst case scenario I tell the cops and the insurance company.

Hopefully they will get the car but I think they only go out at night and she works til 230 am.

Will let you know what happens. Kinda stressful situation. Seems like every time I help someone out I get screwed !

Geez, what does she think she's getting a free car for going out with you?

Just let the repo guys know everything you can about her -- when she's home, where she parks, where she works and what time she goes to work. If they don't know things like that, then they may be trying to find the car in the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm sure they'll get it eventually, though, just may take some time. They'll do a stake-out if they have to, and take it while she's grocery shopping or something like that.
