Can anyone provide any insight into how to get Bank of America to renegotiate our delinquent mortgage payments? I have crunched the numbers and can figure out how to catch us up in a little less than a year, but will they work with us? I plan on calling them tomorrow. We have already been denied a loan modification, so I'm not sure what other options I have. Unfortunately, banks can't forced to offer loan modification. It's the discretion of the lender whether or not to participate in the loan modification program. Your only option is to discuss the situation with the lender. If you have a sound plan to save your property, you may discuss it with BofA.
Hope things straighten out soon for you.
