Called them today and they offered me 2700 in 3 payments on a 8600 debt.IF this is legit,and i do mean IF,would you guys take it or wait a while longer?I am at 120 days late now.Thanks

If this settlement offer is legit and you can afford it, you may accept it. They are settling almost at 31% which IMO isn't bad. Also It would save your credit report from taking the hit of 'charged-off'.

I decided to take it.They faxed me the settlement offer even though i hadn't agreed to it yet.I had to get them to fax me another because they had all due by april 25th.I got them to break it into to 3 payments and fax me another. Everything looks good,worded correctly and 31% aint to shabby i guess.So that will be about 48000 settled for average of 27%.Im done,got a few more cards but i'm going to keep paying them so i can get a head start on rebuilding.Couldn't have done it without this board,THANKS
