SOL question

Okay, my next question is about SOL. I thought they went by the state you live in, but in doing a lot of reading, I stumbled across where some credit card companies have on their cardholder agreements or amendments later the following notation (This one being taken from an amended agreement):
"In addition to the other changes described below, please note that as of the effective date, your Cardholder Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of Delaware."
So, does that mean that said credit card will be governed by the SOL of 3 years?

That depends on the choice of law laws in Georgia. Most likely since they are trying to collect the debt in a Georgia court against a citizen of Georgia, Georgia's SOL will govern, but you would definitely want to consult someone with more knowledge of Georgia law.
