ok, i have 5 payday loans and going to default in a copule of weeks. I need to know if anyone can help me step by step on what i need to do to get rid of them. I live in TX.
Check n Go borrowed 1200.00
Ace cash Express borrowed 600. have paid 300.
american cash centers borrowed 500.00
ez money loan borrowed 250.00
texas car title and payday loans borrowed 500.00

I am assuming you used the title of your vehicle to obtain a loan with texas car title so, if it were me, I would make darn sure that was the loan I paid off first! I am pretty sure some of your other lenders are members of the CFSA, you can check at the link below:

You are eligible for the EPP is they are members, read about it at the link below:

This is what I would do, for the ones who aren't on the CFSA membership list. I would close my account (criminal action prohibited in your state so you are fine there). Then I would send them a letter and explain the financial hardship you are enduring, in that letter I would outline a payment plan you can afford, I would also send them a good faith payment (via money order) with this letter, and stick to the payment plan! Send the letter certified, return receipt requested and make copies of ALL correspondence to and from them. Continue to make payments as planned, by the time they decide to sue you, the loans will most likely be paid off, or close to it. And even if they aren't paid off and it does end up going to court you will have proof that you attempted to pay this off!

Both companies ez money and checkn go said that they were not familiar with EPP. ez money allowed me to set up payments, but check n go will not and they are saying that they are going to turn my checks over to the county attorney as bad checks and i can receive possible jail time and a fine. is this legal in TX
