I really find this information hilarious. You people are full of crap. I work for West Asset Managment and I know what goes on there. It is not harrassment to call for the collection of a debt. By the way, debtors LIE all the time!!!!!! Of course they are going to say these things....they owe money that they dont want to pay. No one likes getting a collection call, but if people would just talk to us we can help you figure out how to handle paying off accounts. It is NOT our fault that YOU owe money!!!! Act like mature adults and eal with your financial obligations.

Thanks for the moral lesson. Unfortunately, collectors do violate laws and that is why we have got resources like FTC and State AGs where the customers can turn for help when their rights get violated.
I think the collectors too have responsibility to behave like matures when they're dealing with customers.
