Next time they call tell them they are required by federal law (FDCPA) to send you a dunning letter (letter of collection) in the mail within 5 days of their first initial contact with you, also tell them you are counting those days and if you do not receive a letter of collection you are prepared to file complaints against them with the FTC, BBB and your AG for not complying. I would also let them know you will be keeping records of each and every communication with them just in case you decide to sue them for violating your rights and the FDCPA. And please follow through !

OK, thanks. I don't know if they will call again or not. I told them they could not contact me by phone, but by mail or email only. She said she was making a final decision about my case today. I just hung up then.
