I have a high security clearance and was informed if I filed for bankruptcy I would loose my clearance, can you answer this question please. Also, I am divorced and my wife left me with all the bills because I co-signed for her, what alternative do I have?

Whether your security clearance can be revoked depends on whether or not you lie about the bankruptcy during an investigation or renewing your clearance. Your boss might have more of an idea about this or know of a place you can get free help, ask around at work, who knows? Maybe one of your co-workers when through this. Just a thought if you haven't already . . .
