I'm over 30,000.00 in credit card debt, I current have two "frozen" accts. 1 @ 2% & 1 @ 9.9, my other accts are @ 11.99, 10.99%. I am barely making it by, I don't own a home, and have no real items of value. Any reason why I should n't file for bankruptcy - other than taking a hit on my credit score?

A bankruptcy is far worse on your credit than settlement. So if you can find a way to do a settlement on the accounts that would be the best - for you and the creditors.

I don't know what you do for a living, but there are some occupations that a bk can cause problems with. Also the cost of bk has risen dramatically and must be paid for in advance of the attorney doing your filing.
