hello,
I'm now making an attempt to pay half my capitol one credit card. I made a phone call to capitol one and was referred to a legal recovery service law office located in San Diego that will be handling this. So I called the # they gave me and the gentlemen there said I could make two payments to completely pay it off. Gave him info to what occupation I did for a living and knew the place where I was working. So he said i could mail off a money order but to call him to give him the tracking # but I called the # for a week and got a voice mail machine. During that week I get a phone call from him at my work demanding if Im going to pay it. (I NEVER HAD A DEBT COLLECTOR CALL MY WORK...IS THAT STRANGE?) So then two days later he calls me in the morning saying where's the money but I told him i'm going to make a money order and I will call him back with the tracking #. The # he called me on wasn't private so I called it and the number has been disconnected? I said #### what is going on???? Called capital one back to figure out to who can I send the money to and they said THE LEGAL RECOVERY SERVICES WILL BE HANDLING THIS. How do i know this place is legitimate for a large sum of money? All of this is suspicious... HELP OR ADVICE
