They were taking out $90 twice every two weeks until I put a stop payment on it for over 2 years... then they called and said they would work with me... I was sending them $100 a month for 6 months and then my debt would be done. I did 3 months and stopped and haven't heard anything from them... should I continue to send these money orders or is my money going nowhere?

Guest,

It is always advisable to have some written document of the payment plan with your creditors. You have sent three payments according to your contract. Then why did you stop it suddenly? Do you feel that the amount they claimed is incorrect? Or you want records of your payment.

For both the cases you should contact them and see what they advise. However, since you have paid through MO, perhaps you have some proof that they have received the money. You can show it if they come up with some unnatural claim in future.
