Iv been trying to find out if the PDL's i borrowed from are legal/licensed in FL.
Advance America (storefront)
Emerald Marketing (internet) AKA SMG-Shamrock Marketing Group
Cash Star (internet)
if they are not legal, what are my rights when the debt has been sold to collection agencies. Thanks!

The storefront PDLs that you are dealing with are legal but whereas the online PDLs are concerned let me tell you that they are not licensed in the state of borrowers. Therefore if these accounts are sold to any collection agencies then you can definitely go for a Debt Settlement Program and get those accounts consolidated by making just one monthly payments.

Internet loans made in Florida by illegal lenders are non collectable! Section 516 of the Florida Consumer Financial Act! Taking a settlement loan for these is insane! You will just pay a bunch of fees to the settlement company! The storefront will work with you on structured payments! That is Florida law also!
