I wonder How long before they stop

settling accounts alltogether?Seems to me as more and more people realize they can do this the cc companies are going to say,hey wait a minute this is getting out of hand.You see more and more about this on the news.I am afraid that one day soon this may be coming to a halt.Anything that benefits the consumer financially usually gets cut sooner or later,so why should this be any different?


With a chapter 7, the cc's recieve nothing.

With a chapter 13, they get a %.

I bet that with debt settlement they recieve more than with a 13.

I've often wondered the same for as how long this can go on.
As powerfull as the cc lobby is, you think they'd try some more baloney.

The banks got chptr 7 modified to a means test.

The banks are in support of the Bill that was sponsored by Senator Schumer that was announced yesterday.
The Bill, if passed, will not put an end to debt settlement the process, but it will put an end to the debt settlement industry as it exists.

Last one to leave turn out the lights....
