Has anyone used a credit monitoring service? Do they worth the fees they charge?

I've been a victim of identity theft in the past and want to know what is the best way to prevent such events in the future. Does credit monitoring help?

As you have been a victim of identity theft in the past,so I think credit monitering will help you.It keeps a track on your credit report. If there is any error or any changes done you will be updated regarding the same.Though it cannot make a permanent stop regarding the theft, but it can surely reduce its impact.
If you are thinking for a credit monitering service, then the smart work will be do it before you make any necessary changes in your credit report.

Credit monitoring is also an excellent tool when you are repairing your credit yourself. It keeps tabs on all 3 of the credit reports and lets you know if something has changed, like something gets verified or it gets removed! You get this notice before the credit reporting agency even sends you the results!

The best ones are the ones that allow you to look at your reports daily. Check carefully, some only let you pull a report every 30 days.
