reached judgment with CACH however due to decrease in finances I defaulted and now they are taking me back to court what can I do?

Didi you already received the judgment? If not, go ahead and speak to them about your financial situation and let them know you want to pay them off but not the whole amount, what ever you can afford as per your finacial situation. This shows you being honest to them and try to pay off them and you are not running away from them.

Yes I received a judgment of 800 dollars however I only paid 400 and could not afford to pay after that due to other issues. They are now taking back to court on the default and are asking for 4800. I have call them and asked work something out for less but they are refusing.

Ok, so you in that scenario I will suggest you, you need to need have a payment plan arrangement from these guys. Because definitely paying $4800 in one go will very tight for you. How long you are not paying them, because you paid $400 so only $400 was left which now becomes $4800. A lot of interest and late fees might be added up.

It was only last year and now I have received a notice to appear in court regarding the default. However today the collector said I could pay 10% down and 190 per month and it would not go to court. And the majority of the 4800 is penalties for them and not the orginal company.
