I worked on a settlement for a friend, finally got it down to 20
I worked on a settlement for a friend, finally got it down to 20% but waited for over a year, during that time I stayed in contact with them via certified mail. It might pay off to hold off a little longer.
I am 120 days out on three B of A owned cards. With all the fees and interest we now owe $43K, and they offered to settle for $17,400, thereby writing off 60%. I told her we cannot do that much, which is absolutely true. Does anyone have any knowledge as to whether they will continue to offer at less? She said the team working on my file stamped this as their offer. Thanks.
Hopefully it won't be the best offer from boa the snake.
Lots of folks in here got lower offers, depends on the days late.
Seems that the 150 range is the key to success.
Mine was 30.1% on 39k at about 120 days.
Good luck and keep us posted.
