advance credit recovery calls my job with a recording for anybody listening who answer the phone. Saying my name and informing the other person on the line that I am going to be sued. The number on the recording is a false number. I don't know who they represent.

If they call again, have anyone who answers the phone tell them that your employer doesn't permit personal calls at work and under the Federal Fair Debt Collections act they cannot call you anymore. In addition, tell them that they have to provide you with a legitimate contact number to discuss the situation with you at another time. Then hang up and tell your boss to get the number blocked.

Call them, ask for a name of a qualified business and inform them that they have been disclosing your debt to 3rd parties at your work causing you embarassment and suffering. Tell them never to call your work again. Send them a certified letter with a cease and desist order. Talk to whoever has received the recorded messages from them at your work and ask them to write down what the message said, specifically the wording on the being sued. Have the letter noterized. Then go to NACA and find an attorney....you have a good case.

These people just did the same thing to me. They left a message on our main line at work stating that they had a very important pending civil matter for me and spelled my name out. The message then said to press one if you were that person to speak with a representative or left a toll free number to call (877) 320-4744 BS If you think I have a case I will gladly sue these bastards.
