credit card consolidation

I want to consolidate my credit cards and make one payment. My son try to do this with a company in Florida named Hess Kennedy and they messed him all up and he has to end up going bankrupt. I need a reliable company.
when you say consolidate are you looking for a loan and then pay
when you say consolidate are you looking for a loan and then pay off the credit cards with that loan? If so, I wouldn't use any of the companies - I woud go to your credit union and see if they are willing to do it.
If you are looking to settle the accounts for less than is owed due to a hardship you are having, I would do that yourself. There are probably some good companies out there but I did it myself and had full control over the process.
