A lot of it. You cannot be arrested for debt in the US. You should not pay anything to anyone you aren't 100% positive you owe money to. Ask them to confirm in writing that you owe the money and if they refuse, get the number blocked.

USFast Cash isn't licensed to lend anywhere, next time they call tell them you are filing a complaint against them with the FTC, BBB and your AG, and please follow through. Even though there may not be anything these organizations can do to an overseas lender, the more complaints that are filed lessens the chances of someone else being defrauded and increases the chances of an investigation.

I bet you anything the guy had an Indian accent. These calls have been coming for years. Offshore scammers call from spoofed numbers in California, Florida and elsewhere (VERY easy to make a call from India look like it came from the US!!!) and pretend to be real lenders trying to collect old debts. The debts are always years old, they tell you, because they figure you probably took out so many loans over the years you can't remember who you paid and who you didn't. Then they call 40 times a day and try to scare you into paying. Meanwhile, it's a pure scam. These guys just bought old payday loan APPLICATIONS. They have no affiliation with the lenders - including U.S. Fast Cash which claims to be run by an Indian tribe in Oklahoma but is really run out of Kansas by a wannabe race car driver. Their phone numbers all trace back to Kansas.

Yes it can be a scam. These are most of the time online pay day loans and they are not the legitimate company's.If you are sure you do not owe any amount to them then do not panic at all.The next time when they calls you back simply ignore the call even if you receive the call and the person claims that you owe money to them, then in that case they should have the proof right !! so ask them to send a validation letter or any proof that will clearly mention that you the money.Do not share any information.
Trust me ....it will help!!

You just need to take a deaf ear to whatever he or she who calls you says. Just ignore such scam calls.
