i just recently pulled out the credit report and my credit card said account closed on a credit grantor's request. And noticed that they keep building up the interest and late charge fee that i can not pay the balance off. What shall i do? Do i call the credit card company and work out to settled it or what?

If that is the scenario then call up the credit card company and try to negotiate with them and come up with a settlement offer so that it will be easier for you to pay hem off.If you find that they are not willing to go for any settlement then in that case you can hire a debt settlement company as they come up with the best settlement offer of your choice.Make sure who ever you chose it should be a legitimate law firm and should have a good rating with BBB.

Probably, the account is sold to some outside collection agency. Does your credit report show the name of the collection agency collecting on this account?
