I received a letter from Michael J Scott, PC about a supposed judgment that Palisades acquisitions obtained against me. The problem is I don't see a judgment from them on my credit report and I don't think this is true. Not sure if I should send a debt validation letter or something else. I was never served with any court papers and I have lived in the same home for over a year. Also this "lawyer" had my current address. Like I said I think this is all bull but I need to handle it. I also think this debt is time barred to begin with but not sure who the original creditor is. Any help would be great.

Call your county court house, or go to your county civil court website to see if there actually is a judgment against you, it's all public record.
