Your creditors generally agree to settle the accounts once they have gone late for 90days. So I guess it would be a good idea to go ahead and propose settlement at this stage. But you have to be a good bargainer to get the best settlement offers. Good Luck!

csampson have they made a offer? if you can afford it settle at what they offer. citibank made me a offer at 120 days, 55% and never went down. It was charged off and I settle today with a third party for 20%. PLEASE don't give up, keep talking to them but expect nothing! GOOD LUCK!

Thanks I have to start at 10%. Thats all the money I have and will be in the hospital soon with another surgery. If they dont settle with that agreement I will have to go bankrupt. If they agree I have that money asaid for them. Hope they agree soon.
