I have the following payday loans. I live in Maryland.

Cashbanc - $319.00
Cashtransfer Center - $650.
Eastsidelender - $219.
Oneclickcash.com - $585.
Paydayone.com - $1,234.20
Mypaydaylaoan - $625.00
PaydwayWiz - $520.
USfastcash.com - $650.
Payday Yes - $390.
Fox Enterprises - $390.
CMG - $390.

I want to use a debt consolidation company, however, I don't want to get in trouble for closing my account (Wachovia). (writing bad check). I am not sure which one to trust because I rather someone else negotiated with these companies.

Also, my name is listed on a family members savings account for the same back and I did not want the payday loan companies to try and take money from his account.

Can someone help me please. I a drowning....

I wouldn't use debt consolidation to get out of this debt because NONE of them are licensed in your state, MD prohibits payday lenders in your state. see the link below:

CLOSE YOUR ACCOUNT! These lenders can NOT sue you, all they can do is threaten you with BS. CLICK HERE to find out how to deal with unlicensed lenders. I just want you to know that your account will NEVER be safe again, even if you revoke their rights to debit your account it will NOT stop them, they will only change their names and debit your account again and again! They are nothing short of criminals and I am sure you wouldn't want a criminal to have your personal account information.

Thanks for the information. I really appreciate it.

I did send a blank check to paydayloan yes, so I guess that is the only one that may say that I wrote a bad check.

Also, do you know if they can try to get money from a savings account that has my name on it. The account is in a family member's name and they put my name on it. I just don't want them to try to touch her savings.

What is your advice since these pdl companies? What should I do? I want to pay the amount back, but I just don't have the funds right now.

THANKS!

let me state that giving a blank check doesn't mean jack.now if you filled it out then the bad check is still a bogus threat as pdl's lend money to peopl they know have low balances on their acct's.the savings account should be safe.click where shazzers has the url on her post.it will help you,and guide you every step of the way.

How did you found out which payday loans companies are illegal in Maryland and which are not (like Paydayone)?

Also, I will trying to find the letter to send to the PDL once I closed my account. I am in the process of closing it now.

Thanks again for all of your help!!!!!!

Scroll down to find a sample letter at the link below:

ALL payday loans are prohibited in the state of MD, there is no list because they are prohibited.

Cashnetusa is a CSO or Credit Services Organization, CSO's aren't required to be licensed, they are only required to register with the Secretary of Stateand their interest rates and fees aren't regulated.

Do you know if a payday loan company can go through another account. I closed my account but my name is on another checking account as a secondary person. The bank manager told me that they could not take $ out of this account unless I gave them the number. But I wanted to make sure.

Thanks

Internet payday lenders share information, they also have several dba's, if they can't withdraw money under one name, they will just go to another alternate ID and withdraw, this is why closing your account is really the only safe way to protect your money, otherwise a few months or years down the road when you think everything was settled - BOOM, a withdrawl from an unknown company could happen without your knowledge.

I totally understand this but the 2nd account is not mine and they do not have the account or routing number. My name is just on it and the bank said that they can not do it without the number. But I am not sure.

I totally understand Shazzers what you are saying, but the account that my name is on is not mines. And I did not give them any account information. So what you are saying is because my name is on the account, they "might" go into it and debt that account without the number?

I really appreciate this site! I will register.
