I opened a Bally's gym membership in 2004 and in 2005 i got reactivated to be deployed to Iraq. Meanwhile my Bally's account kept going and eventually went into collections. I am trying to resolve this, but the collections basically told me I'm out of luck because there just concerned to collect what's due and don't want to make an adjustment from when I got activated. Can they do this? i have a feeling they can do something for me, but that there just trying to close me to get as much as possible. I want to resolve this but don't feel I should have to pay the entire amount and only from the time before i got deployed. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated.
You may send a DV to them to let them confirm their claim to beg
You may send a DV to them to let them confirm their claim to begin with.
Anyway, you would have to keep on negotiating with them for a settlement. Also check if the debt in still within its SOL.
